UH EXQZ ME WAT
This is not about “protecting women.” It’s about cleaning out the sewers that our games have become. This will not be easy and it will not be fun. Standing up to these little jerks will require the same courage from us that women like Anita Sarkeesian have already shown. We will become objects of hatred, ridicule, and contempt. Our manhood will be questioned. But if we remember who we are and stand strong together, we can beat them. In any case we won’t be threatened with sexual violence the way women are. We have it easier than they do.
expbaronline: Chateau Romani (The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask cocktail)
1 oz Amaretto
1 oz Frangelico
1 oz Wild Turkey American Honey
Directions: Pour alcohol in a shaker with ice and shake vigorously. Strain into a small glass and fill with milk. Enjoy the unlimited magic!
A note from the drink’s creator:
This is a good sweet yet strong cocktail. It has a full robust taste and a well rounded flavor. Great for any occasion.
We first set out to create a Lon Lon Milk cocktail but quickly realized it had been done plenty before where as Chateau Romani didn’t have one. So we started working on that. In game the milk restores all magic and grants you unlimited magic for the 3 day period. While this milk isn’t made from specially bred cows we promise after a few of these you’ll feel like you have plenty of magic.

And wow, he is a doozy. Just, whew.
In sum: ”I’m not a misogynist, I just think all women are stupid, fat, attention-seeking whores who have never been good at anything.”
In short, the fucking loser troglodytes behind this harassment campaign against Anita Sarkeesian have created a video game in which you can beat her up.
Coooooooooooooooooool oh wait
Horrifying misogyny aside, I am actually amazed at the outpouring of hate and vitriol directed at this woman who has done nothing more offensive or terrible than suggesting we ought to take a look at female tropes in video games. It’s truly incredible, the amount of absolute psychopathy aimed at someone who is essentially a stranger.
Internet Dudes everywhere have become completely and totally unhinged at the very suggestion that some woman, somewhere, might want to examine how females are treated in electronic gaming culture. They have lost their heads. They have taken leave of their senses entirely. DDoS attacks on her site. Photoshopped images of her being raped. Misogynist memes created about her. People trying to access and post her personal information (phone number, address, etc.). The YouTube comments, of course. Death threats. Wishes that she would experience some kind of violence, usually overtly sexual violence. Reporting her social media accounts as hate speech, terrorism, and spam. I mean, really crazy stuff. It’s insane. They don’t even know this woman, but the tired old message they’re sending is coming through loud and clear:
Tits or GTFO.
insatiable-geek: Link’s Medicine of Magic - Green Potion (The Legend of Zelda alcoholic punch)
2 liters Sprite
1 liter Green Apple Soda
1 cup Vodka
1/2 cup Green Apple Liqueur
1/4 cup Lychee Liqueur
Directions: This drink is a punch meant for parties. Mix all ingredients into a punch bowl, cauldron, boiling flask, or large container of your choosing. Drink whenever you feel the need to restore your magic meter.
A note from the creators: “This has a nice apple flavor (but not too strong), and the lychee adds a nice touch of exotic. Keep in mind we used a 5 liter boiling flask for this monster. So start breaking open pots and bring your rupees to the witch’s hut… or hit up the liquor store.”

After a long day of running across Hyrule, fighting your way through dungeons, and “listening” to Navi you may want to stop by the Milk Bar and get yourself a glass of Lon Lon Milk to take the edge off.
I… might need this.

Like politics, gaming is often seen as a “boy’s club.” This despite a report from Entertainment Software Association that claims that 42% of gamers are female.
You might not know it from looking at the stats, however: many female gamers actively hide their gender for fear of harassment, …
