God forbid women in any industry be taken seriously.  Pix, a new magazine for female photojournalists, just reinforces the stereotype that no matter what kind of work women are doing, what they really care about are fashion trends, keeping their mascara from smudging, cute shoes, and pictures of babies and weddings.
